The Music Room proudly announces its 46th Annual Kids Helping Kids Concert, titled "Cue the Theme", an exciting, family-friendly musical experience that brings beloved movie, television, and video game themes to life. This year's concert features performances by 70 of the island's most talented young musicians, showcasing the vibrant creativity and dedication of Key West's rising artists. These exceptional students will share the stage with celebrated local musicians, including Skipper Kripitz, Joe Dallas, Kathleen Peace, and Kari Wolf. Under the direction of Robin Kaplan, this dynamic concert blends youthful energy with professional artistry, creating an unforgettable experience for audiences of all ages.

This special evening promises to captivate audiences with soul-stirring renditions of Mitchell's most beloved songs, including 'A Case of You' and 'Big Yellow Taxi'. Renowned singer and guitarist Jillian Todd will headline the event, bringing her unique talent and heartfelt interpretations to the stage. As one of the most influential and celebrated singer-songwriters of all time, Joni Mitchell's music has touched the hearts of millions around the world. Her talents have left an indelible mark on the music industry and continue to inspire generations of artists.

In the words of a classic Howard Livingston song, “There’s still a lot of magic in Key West.” That magic will be on full display Saturday, April 11, when Howard and his Mile Marker 24 Band take audiences on a lively musical journey around the island city and the entire Florida Keys. The two-hour concert will showcase the band’s trop-rock melodies that capture the essence of saltwater days and rum-kissed nights — paired with visuals and stories to immerse listeners in a multi-sensory Keys experience.

Very special guests, surprises and Howard’s 1952 Johnson outboard motor “margarita machine” will add to the fun. The evening benefits the nonprofit Care Camps Foundation, funding special summer camps where kids diagnosed with cancer can find hope and happy times.

Influenced by soul, jazz, and folk, Belle brings a unique blend of musical flavors to her performances. Her vibrant energy lights up Key West's musical landscape as she entertains crowds. With surprise guest appearances often including local favorites like Mina Lopez and Journey Blue Heaven, every performance offers a unique and high-energy musical journey.

Presented at the Key West United Methodist Church, the spring concert, "Songs for the People" will in part, honor the many women composers and artists of our time, featuring new compositions and arrangements by women. This will also feature a set of American Spirituals, with guest artist, dramatic soprano Dr. Amy Yekel.
